kingsburg is an awesome new board game where you each player is sent out to set up frontier territories. Over the games 5 years (divided up into seasons) you try and gain support of different advisers to the King to gain wood, gold, and stone to build buildings, as well as other other benefits. You must also acquire soldiers to protect your settlement during a battle at the end of each year. It sounds rather complicated but after a round or two you get the hang of it and it's a lot of fun. This sweet game is definitely on my list of things to get.

LPS teeniest tiniest pet shop

When I was younger I was really into a sweet toy called Polly Pocket. Back then Polly Pocket was completely different. I think I will cover her in more depth in a later post. But basically it consisted of very small figures and houses or containers that opened up to be houses or a mall or a castle or whatever. You could collect a ton of different people and pets and houses and cars and have a blast playing with these tiny people. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when suddenly Polly was 3 inches tall and the new concept was to change her rubbery clothes and became way less sweet... I thought children today would never know the joy of playing with tiny figures and houses that transformed into a portable shape. Luckily Hasbro has come out with Littlest Pet Shop Teeniest Tiniest Pet Shop. These sweet toys have basically the same concept as the old Polly Pockets but are big headed animals instead of people and their environments and containers are much more innovative. It seems like sometimes brands are stretched too far and try to expand into too many markets and become too overwhelming. In this case, however I am glad Littlest Pet Shop stepped out of the box and brought back a sweet idea toy for a new generation to enjoy.

It turns out I may have been wrong about Webkins. I have recently had the opportunity to observe a child using the neopets site and then the webkinz site and realized Webkins is way more child friendly, is easy to navigate through and uses audio. I guess if they have to pay the web developers by selling stuffed animals to clutter your house so be it. I also noticed how the children enjoy collecting, naming, and playing with the different animals the have. The games are also enjoyable for adults because they are very simple and will allow you to score high with ease. In conclusion... If you want to pay for your children to easy have fun with a virtual pet, by all means buy a webkin. if you are looking for a free way to waste some time, play neopets. both are good in their own way.

marble maze

When I was younger I had a marble maze. This sweet toy was completely customizable and could be set up in unlimited ways. Most of the pieces were basic tubes but I also had a funnel, a plinko type deal, a spinning wheel, and a couple of swirly tubes. You can set up all sorts of paths for the marbles to follow and run lots are marbles at a time. This sweet toy may seem very simple and that is part of its appeal. I have also seen other versions of this sweet toy that magnetically connect to anything metal (fridge, etc). This adds another level to the marble maze because you don't have to worry about it balancing and having support to hold the maze up. You can also improvise and come up with your own paths and mazes using stuff around the house. Sweet.

I think one very underestimated and often forgotten about sweet toy is a puzzle. Puzzles come in all sorts of sizes and varieties and can be very challenging. Puzzles can be a great family activity as well. Children can enjoy smaller, simpler puzzles and once they get older can enjoy the challenge of large complicated puzzles. 3D puzzles are also fun. Song puzzles for children can also be very entertaining. Plus puzzles are typically pretty cheap. If you aren't into puzzles anymore they are worth a second chance.

Rubik's Cube

One of my all time favorite puzzles is the Rubik's Cube. This one sweet toy can bring you hours and hours of entertainment. If you figure out how to solve it then it will allow you to impress many people and if you've seen Pursuit of Happyness possibly land you a job. Rubiks cubes also come in many varieties. There are the normal 3x3 cubes, 2x2 cubes, 4x4 ones, and even 5x5 Rubik's Cubes. Many sports teams have their own version of this sweet toy as well as a transformers Rubiks cube. you can even solve the rubik's cube online! with this much fun waiting you better get started!

Niagara

Yesterday I went to a board game convention and played a lot of sweet games I had never even heard of. One of these sweet toys was called Niagara. This is a very innovative board game where you travel downstream in your canoes to retrieve gems and bring them back to shore. The trouble is the river (made of clear circles of glass) moves at different speeds and if you are not careful will send you over the waterfall. Some of the things that make this game so sweet is the different strategies you develop. you have different numbered paddle to use (all labeled with a certain number of spaces) but you have to use all of them before you can use any one twice. I once used all of my large numbers early so when I was trying to move upstream to shore i didnt have enough paddles to save me from the current. another thing that makes this a sweet toy is all the pieces that come with the game. There are lots of wooden canoes, lots of colored gems, and of course the exciting water. I had a lot of fun playing this game and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a change in board games.

Wobble Deck

I recently acquired a wobble deck and found that it is a pretty sweet toy. I am far too big to actually use this unique children's toy but got the gist of it using my hands. Basically you stand on the feet outlines in the center of the wobble deck. Each side is identified with a different color and musical instrument. There is a speaker box in the center and when it says a color you shift your weight to that side. It helps children with balance, coordination, and im sure some other stuff too. It's wooden and durable and this sweet toy also makes a great gift!

Sometimes I wish I would have thought of the idea of webkinz. Not because they improved society or even look cute but because it was a smart and profitable idea. There are already games on the internet (kid friendly sites) and there are already stuffed animals. Many sites with sweet games, communities, pets, etc are completely free and pretty fun. Why not make people buy a product to access these same sites? There are enough dumb people in the world that overlook the existing websites and will buy into this Webkinz idea without hesitation! I get it- your child gets a little stuffed animal to go along with the internet access deal and it becomes a tamagotchi in a sense. Well in the case of www.neopets.com you get all the same perks of webkinz without having to invest any money. though they do sell neopet merchandise if that's what you're into... plus webkinz aren't even cute. In conclusion... webkinz are not sweet toys. save yourself some money and go to www.neopets.com.

Shinning Star stuffed animals

I think in the future people will be shocked at the outrageous names of the stars. I am not sure how dramatically the decision to sell stuffed animals by tempting children with having their very own star named is going to affect society... but it seems a bit extreme. I guess it's just another way to boost plush toys sales but i'm not sure how sweet these toys really are.

Mr. Potato head is a classic sweet toy that has been around for ever. This lovable plastic potato comes in a variety of costumes and also has a female counterpart, Mrs. Potato head. With changeable eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, and also his hat, feet, arms, and occasional mustache and glasses, this sweet toy is a must have for any child. i know u have posted about how sweet a toy littlest pet shop is... but now they have created even more cute little pets to collect. pandas, monkeys, horses, seals... kittens and gerbils with little tongues that lick bottles, puppies, bunnies, kittens, hermit crabs, pigs, turtles and much more! I have seen electronic toys and board games and even littlest pet shop plushes. Some of the newest littlest pet shop pets have fuzzy bodies in addition to their bobble heads. Do you enjoy search and find books? are where's waldo and ispy in your library? A few days ago I played a new game. Pictureka. This is by far the most exciting new board game I have played in a long time. In this game you have 9 squares each filled with tons of goofy and fun objects. You can mix the squares up, rotate, flip, or switch their positions. From there you roll a die and find a specific objects, certain number of general objects, or race against other players to find an object. This sweet game is so fun! I whole-heartedly recommend this game to everyone!

remember a few years ago when bop- it was all the rage? one player, multi player, no matter how you played it was always fun. added gadgets only made it better and more challenging. Well bop-it is still just as sweet of a toy but for a different reason. consider bop-it, the drinking game. what could be better than a game that requires fine motor skills and fast thinking when you're drinking? totally awesome! try it!

nintendo wii

so i got a wii for valentines day and it is totally awesome. maybe even the sweetest toy i have ever owned! i love the way everyone in the family can interact and how easy the wii and wii mote are to use! I bring it to all our family parties and everyone has a ball. I am glad it came with wii sports. this includes tennis, bowling, golf, boxing, and baseball. I love how basic and intuitive these games are. One of the first days I got my wii my grandpa came over and played boxing with me. my little five year old cousin just loves tennis and bowling. She is getting pretty good! Baseball is fun because all of your miis take turns batting. The wii is sooo easy to use and is changing the way people look at video games. my cousin always HATED video games and computer games and got mad whenever we brought them up in conversation. I knew the wii could change her mind about video games and now she understands how sweet and fun they can be! The wii is completely up and coming and i know there will be tons more awesome games for it. i would recommend this sweet toy to anyone!

Nintendo DS Lite

So the nintendo ds lite is just about the coolest toy i have seem lately. my friend got one for his birthday and i have been playing with it like crazy. In case you dont know what a nintendo ds lite is.... its like a gameboy times about three thousand.... like it has two screens, one of them is a touch screen... amazing colors, great sounds, its real small so it fits in any pocket or purse or backpack really well.... it has tons of games and even works with some older gameboy games... and it has a nifty little pen you can use to select menu options or use in gameplay... and that is really fun- believe me! like in the new mario (you know the one on the commertials where you can get a huge mushroom and turn huge and just walk through the level crushing everything?? -they also have tiny mushrooms where you can get really small- which is basically useless bc you cant kill anything... but its still really cute- and you can fit into small areas... but that new mario game also has tons of smaller side games that utilize the sweet little pointer and use it to do everything from guiding your man away from and around those little bombs to shooting a slingshot to drawing trampolines and bouncing your luigi to safety. its really fun. hopefully ill start to review the games for this sweet system so you will know which ones to buy. i think i am going to buy a nintendo ds lite myself so i can show other people how sweet this toy really is!

so i have come to find out that 'twinsen's odyssey' is more commonly refered to as LBA or Little Big Adventure (its name in Europe) and the game i played as a child was actually the sequel and i have never played the first game (LBA1) so i am going to again express the sweetness of this toy. I used one song from this game (the songs stil amaze me and dramatically increase the expirience) so now it is virtually all i can think about. there are hundreds of amazing screenshots and forums about this amazing game. my favorite is www.magicball.net i highly recomend you view this website and find out what this game is all about. AND they are going to make a third LBA hopefully coming out next spring. so i am super excited. There are several ways to aquire this game. 1 buy it- mostly available on ebay and amazon (but this is a fairly pricy option) 2. download it (the creator told magicball.net he wants it spread and doesnt care if we share it) so the easiest way to do this is using torrents. search for a LBA torrent and once you download that you must have a program to download it with (i suggest Azureus) so please please look up this game, screenshots, downloads, etc and PLEASE SUPPORT LBA3!! this may be the sweetest toy ever!!

bobbleheads

bobbleheads are a pretty sweet type of toy. the tend to be mostly decorational and love to ride in cars and bounce their heads to the beat of the music or the bumps in the road. this toy has many varieties but are often times in the shape of animals expecially dogs. one of my favorite boobleheads is from jack in the box restaurant. i think hi colors are very appealing as well as the idea of having a big ball instead of a head. Hulla dancers are another type of bobble head but their heads dont really bobble at all. In the store a few days ago i noticed some cute littlestpet bobbleheads. these boobleheads can be decorational but i would imagine that they are also pretty fun to play with. sports bobbleheads are also very popular keepsakes and giveaways at baseball games and many other sporting events. click here to check out more great bobbleheads! these toys are sweet!

so most people love video games. kids, teens, adults, everyone (except maybe old people) loves vidio games. video games started in 1958 when william higinbotham created the first video game ever, called "tennis for two". in 1971, nolan bushnell together with ted dabney, created the first arcade game "computer space" similar to steve russell's game spacewar! created in 1962. pong was created by nolan bushnell in 1972 along with the formation of atari computers by nolan bushnell and ted dabney. the Odyssey, the first commercial video game console that could be played in the home, was designed by ralph baer and in 1972 was released by magnavox. On june 17, 1980, atari's "asteroids" and "lunar lander" were the first two video games to ever be registered in the copyright office. Atari continued to expand the world of video games through the 1980s and these classic games, though maybe not as popular and common as they once were, are still amazingly sweet toys. These original games gave birth to all computer games and video games seen today. It continues to amaze me how many games there are and how technology is allowing them to become more and more realistic and more and more interactive. But these games all have their roots back to the first video games and the theme of this post... atari. we had atari when i was younger and though i didnt realize its greatness. my favorite game is pitfall. you get to travel through forests and swing over ponds and face scorpions and climb ladders and its amazing. there are also loads of other sweet games as well. SO go play and if you have an old atari you dont want anymore drop me a line.

apples to apples

so i have recently found the game apples to apples and have been very pleased with this sweet toy. if you have never played this "card game" i highly recommend you go out right now and get it. though it can cost you up to $30 for the wooden box version, it is worth every penny. this game doesnt take long to play and you can play with only 2 players if you have to (though i recommend at least four). apples to apples is directed for older teens and adults because some of the words and concepts used are slightly esoteric. but basically, in apples to apples each player picks 7 cards. these cards contain random nouns and short descriptions or thought about each. the word on the cards are completely random and thats what makes this game so fun. so once everyone chooses their random cards the "judge" flips over a green adjective card. everyone except the judge plays they card in their hand they think best matches the center card. then the judge (this job rotates around the group of players)chooses what ever one he/she likes best. this game is interesting because whether you win or not depends on the judge. some judges take the game very seriously and and will chose the word 'brain surgeon' for the adjective 'intelligent' but some other judge might pick 'rubber gloves' instead. you pretty much have to learn to play to the judge to win. but no matter what the random word match ups are usually pretty funny and no two games are ever the same. this game makes a great gift or is sweet to have around if you have company over. be careful though. a lot of times people who take this game seriously and play cards that logically match the center card get aggravated at random and whimsical choices! have fun!

ipods

ipods could be considered toys... very expensive ones... but if you like music there is no better solution out there. why carry around a ton or cds and an old fashion cd player? get up on the times! everyone i know has an ipod. there are also a lot of other cool stuff ipods can do. some can show slideshows of pictures or movies or can be used as storage (external hard drive) for your computer. but the main (and best part) is the music. i can listen to any some i want when ever i want. its pretty amazing when you think about it. there are also a ton of ipod accessories, cases, radio transmitters, docks, speakers etc (which would make a perfect gift for anyone!). there are also many sites advertizing free ipod giveaways etc but most are a rip off. i found one that really works! its fast and easy. you should check it out if you want an ipod but dont want to pay a lot for it!! heres the link- spread it around bc everyone deserves a cool ipod! click here!!

so there are also other types of sweet toys than the ones children play. cat toys. cat toys are generally underestimated and are very fun to play with. you can interact with your cute kittens (help them be good entertainment for guests) or often times they will play with the toys by themselves for hours. the most popular type of cat toy for feline-human interaction would have to be the noisy/shiny toy on a string. preferably an elastic string. one of the most amazing parts of this type of toy is the sweet jumps your cat will do as it plays. anything shiny will usually be good for a cat. especially if it makes noise. krinkley balls are very effective on hard floors but balls will bells work well anywhere (although they can get quite annoying). cats also like toys that get stuck on their claws. it makes it seem like it moves more i guess. one of my cats favorite toys are the twist tys from bread or produce. she climbs up on the chair and nudges it off the edge then pounces on it like it jumped off itself. its really funny to watch. there are a lot of new and very cool cat toys these days. but if you dont have the money or want to go for a more simplistic approach try yarn, yup its an oldie but a goodie.

ridiculous plushes

so there seem to be more and more ridiculous stuffed animals being introduced into the toy market these days. i am not saying that these toys are less sweet than some of the more classic teddy bears and dolls but they are certainly more unique. take pee and poo for example... these cute representations of human pee and poo were originally sold in sweden are are supposed to be for children. but i think these interesting plushes would be great for someone of any age (except for maybe your grandma or something) i cant seem to find a way to buy them here in the states but im sure if you look hard enough you can figure something out. Another sweet toy in plush form that i encountered are giant microbes. talk about turning something bad and gross into a cute lovable little toy. they have allsorts of diseases and health problems from stomach ache and mad cow disease to gonorrhea and syphilis. and boy are they cute. on their main webpage you can buy one for only $5.00-6.00. practically a steal. ive decided to buy one for my friends whenever someone gets sick or has a birthday... or maybe ill buy them all for myself... so you should totally get some. between pee and poo and giant microbes im sure you can find something unique to buy everyone you know!

i, as many other people this christmas, recieved several of those cute littlest petshop animals. i think the thing that makes these sweet toys so successful is not the new "bobble head" feature, but the big eyes and very cute faces. almost every store i visited over the holidays was almost completely sold out of these little toys so i thought i would figure out what makes this "new" toy a hit. so first i got out all my old littlest pet shop toys. the old toys had much more variety in size and purpose. these new toys all have the magnetic dot but the old ones had buttons to push or turn to make the animal move. i think this shows that children today are less concerned with functionality and more with what looks good. now littlest pet shops are less concerned with accessories such as small pet foods and more focuesd on the pets themselves. the old littlest pet shop animals were very popular as well and can probably be sold for more than they are worth on ebay at this point. i think another good idea was the expansion to the plush field. now not only can you collect the bigheaded miniature pets but also the immensely soft and fluffy stuffed animals. this also allows younger children to be introduced to this sweet toy without the choking hazard. i believe littlest pet shop will continue to expand and change but i think no matter when they are brought into the lives of children they will be a success because animals are pretty much timeless.

cars... remote control style

one of my favorite toys growing up were remote control cars. These sweet toys allow you, a child, to be in control of a real car! how cool is that? now although these cars were not lifesize and you didnt control them from the inside, they were still amazing. you could sit on a chair or the floor and chase people around, confuse a pet, or build a track and steer it through a maze. the possabilies for this inventive toy are endless. there are also many different brands and colors and styles of cars. There are realistic ones and more creative ones that flip over or climb over stuff or go real fast. You could collect a lot of them and play with friends. as the holidays are approaching i have found myself looking at toys in ads and stores and i have noticed that these sweet kid-controled cars are as popular as ever though nowadays kids seem less satisfied with just controlling a car. Designers have to be more creative and unique in order to grab kids attention.There are all sizes or cars now from a few centameters to a few feet. for example the other day i saw a "radio" controlled tank. but this tank wasnt cute and small, it was like 3 feet long! ridiculous i say. i also saw a gravity defying car that supposidly climbed up walls. though i have to admit that the idea is very cool, it makes me sad that we have to go to that extent to sell our products. what ever happened to the good old days when children were happy with just a toy car? i think they are still sweet.

playgound balls

ya know those big, colorful, rubbery balls you can buy for a buck or two at any toy store? well those although often underestimated are certainly sweet toys. they are ao multipurpose, fun looking, and cheap. you can use them to play almost any sport which is cool. they are pretty durable so if they some how land in a bush they wont usually pop and they feature tons of cool designs. they are sold at most general store (muijer, kroger, walgreens) as well as obviously toy stores. animals love (and often destroy) them too. my dog used to "play soccer" for hours outside in the yard with a ball too big to fit her mouth around. these balls are also great for kids because they arent hard like soccer or basketballs and there are also many varieties. one of my favorite brands is gertie balls. these ones are especially soft and flexible and can be glow in the dark, animal print, designed like actual sports balls, as well as tons of other designs and colors. though they are harder to find than most balls i highly recommend these extra sweet toys.

Beanfuls are a very very sweet toy. this unique and exciting toy is a stuffed animal with little babies inside. There are many many different types of animals beanfuls come in including: hippo, pig, leopard, turtle, and many many others. These toys are so sweet because the number of babies is a surprise. Also sometimes there will be a baby that is different from most of the others (ie: most baby pigs are light pink and one is dark or most leopard babies are black but some have spots- i unfortunately didnt get any of the 'special' babies. These toys were amazing and really really fun to collect. "They have been out of production for several years and I am not sure if
any one is still selling them," says Paula Billingsley Shimizu of Playmates Toys Inc. This comes as very very sad news as they are not common on ebay or other auctions. But Beanfuls are still just as cool as they were in the 90s and are fun to show off. I only wish i could find some more. but maybe these sweet toys will someday be among the lucky ones to be 'brought back.'

gaming of the boys

i think today i am going to talk about gameboys. this is for sure a pretty sweet toy for the most part. its like taking a gameing system, a tv, all the controlers, and the games and squezing them into a cute little portable box. gameboys can be taken pretty much anywhere and arent even very expensive. There are also tons and tons of games for you to play on the gameboy and a lot of accessories too. a lot of times you can even connect your gamboy with someone elses and play with( or challenge etc) them. The only problem i see with gameboys can also be seen be any gaming system or computer game... a lot of times kids can get so engrossed with it that they dont communicate with other people, lack social interaction, or get fat due to lack of physical activity. But this toy, used in moderation, can be pretty sweet for any kid. Sure gameboys might not be as sweet of a toy as they used to be and there are other devices like them, they are a classic and hold a special place in my heart.

tamagotchis are still rad

ever wanted a sweet pet but the responsibility or taking it for walks or cleaning up its mess? or maybe you are in school or live somewhere where pets are not permitted. well there is this sweet and very well known toy called the Tamagotchi. I know... I know... so 1990's... well although this toy may have lost some of its excitement and charm it is still kick ass. These cute interactive toys allow the owner to feed, play with, and teach trick to their very own virtual pet. This toy still requires some "responsibility" because the Tamagotchi is in you care, but if you forget about it for a few days its not that big of a deal. I wish i could find one of my old ones and bust it out because this toy is just so sweet.... they also have a cool website where they have a lot of cool descriptions of the different Tamagotchi variations, downloads, and even a game. As far as virtual pets go... this sweet toy rocks my socks!

so we got this new computer quite a while ago and it came with a few games as computers often do. Well one of these games called Twinsen's Odyssey is seriously the sweetest computer game i have ever seen. It isnt violent and doesnt involve much violence. This sweet toy is more about problem solving and is very challenging. It was one of the first 3D games i had ever played so that aspect seemed even sweeter. Also it included a ton of awesome characters and places. Its starts off on a rainy island and it is for some reason twinsen's job to make it stop and eventually defeat funfrock. my cousins and i had the best time trying to gain access to more areas and reach further aspects of the game. it took us nearly two years to beat (given we were a few years younger) but i'm pretty sure if i could play it now it would still amaze me. Unfortunately this game ran best on windows 98 and because we upgraded (and technology was even less sweet as it is now) we were unable to play the game correctly and now it has gotten lost. I have been trying to aquire for this sweet toy and its sequel for ages with no avail. (at the end of the game twinsen's pregnant wife has the baby and you never get to see its little face...) So if you guys have this game lying around at home or have seen it on sale somewhere.... its called Twinsen's Odyssey and Twinsen's Odyssey II: the little big adventure... and i either highly recommend that you play it or if not maybe if you send it to me i'll throw some cash your way.... who knows? im crazy....

this sweet toy is a classic guessing game. with all of its fun and interesting characters who wouldn't love this game? the rules are simple, ask yes or no questions to figure out which person the other player has. I recieved this game as a gift recently and my friends and i have found one very useful tip for this sweet game. Instead of asking 'is your person a man' or 'is your person a woman' ask if the figure on the card has facial hair. That way if they say yes, it is obviously a man (and it eliminates a lot of other men as well as all of the women) or if they say no, you still eliminate a lot of men and can ask the man/woman question later. This sweet toy is so convenient because you can play it virtually anytime and anywhere. It doesnt take long to set up or play like so many other board games and lies flat so you can transport it easily. This sweet toy is easy for kids to understand and since the rules are so simple this sweet toy is great for all ages. any one up for a guess who tournament?

Bubbles may be one of the sweetest toys i have ever encountered. Simple and often a byproduct of cleaning, bubbles, as toys, take on a new form. They aren't just used to wash hands or pots and pans, they are a source of enjoyment for hours and hours. packaged in those standard colorful containers with those carefully crafted wands.... magnificent. and now there are so many varieties of bubbles. non-popping bubbles, edible, flavored bubbles, those huge ones that you blow up through a straw... the list goes on and on. My favorite variation of this sweet toy would have to be the rope on a string dipped in soap method bubbles. this fun bubble maker can easily be transformed into a great family activity and is awesome for nice summer days. This method also creates the most beautiful colors and shapes i have ever seen in a bubble. and unlike so many sweet toys these days, bubbles are virtually free and can be found virtually anywhere. go on into the bathroom and try to blow a few. you know you wanna.

So today I thought I would review a toy that isn't so very sweet. Bratz is one of my least favorite new toys out today. These new "barbies" are obviously designed for kids right? yet they have more makeup on than any movie star I have ever seen. These kids are absorbing and learning from everything around them. Why would you want your kids playing with a toy whose name alone (brat) means "an ill-mannered annoying child?" These toys focus on all material things, cool clothes (which coincidentally aren't even sweet), fame, big expensive cars, jets, etc. It's just one fashion show after another. But I think what I hate most about these toys is their annoying faces. They have HUGE unrealistic lips and really big eyes. Their hair is too long and thier bodies are way too unproportionate. Have you noticed their tiny torsos and gigantic feet? They don't look a thing like real people yet our youngsters are idealizing them and their stupid materialistic lifestyles. Pretty much these toys are lame. So don't buy them for your kids.... we have enough brats in the world already.

Lincoln Logs

I was browsing through the toy store today and amidst all the new toys I came across an old favorite of mine. As a small child I tried unsuccessfully to make sweet cabins and had a fun time playing with the houses and people once they were built. But now I have become an expert builder making hotels and schools and now letting my little cousins play with the toy people in the big houses I create. The design of Lincoln Logs is so simple yet so terrific. Multiple sizes of the same piece, a log with squares cut out, so other logs can connect. Genius. This toy is great for all those future architects and such of the world or is pretty much awesome for playing no matter how old you are.

So I thought I should add in a review about a bad toy well a toy that I personally don't like. And I honestly couldn’t think of any. I mean besides the obviously and broad category of all those dumb TV shows for little kid toys and action figures. So I thought I would stick with being positive. Who wants to hear about lame toys anyway right? So I decided to go with Playdoh. I think this unique and exciting toy doesn't get enough credit. It’s been around for ages and kids never tire of it. It’s so soft and has that wonderful playdoh smell. And isn’t even that harmful (if at all) to eat. Its soo affordable and colorful and great. And if you happen to need more to keep you attention than a ball of sweet toy then you can totally check out all the playdoh accessories. There sure are a lot. And playdoh, unlike so many other toys, is extremely transportable and doesnt even make a big mess. This toy is pretty much ideal for pretty much every parent ever. So if you have kids but no playdoh, go get some because a kid without playdoh is hardy a kid at all....

Good afternoon. I would like to share with you my all time favorite toy. I have encountered countless toys and games in my life but legos are by far the best. Hands down. No question. So many possibilities, so many blocks, so many colors! This toy is totally amazing. I have been accumulating legos for as long as I can remember and I now have a quite extensive collection. This timeless toy, although typically recommended for children up to about age nine is just as good if not better when you experience it as an adult. I know I will never tire of designing, building, demolishing, and then starting all over again. and legos has created Duplos for younger kids, Bionicle creature deals, Clikits, and many other sweet toys. In addition they make pretty cool computer games, maybe not the best I have encountered but who can resist those cute little Lego people?? I assure you I cannot. And who could forget the cool Lego stores where you can buy your own Lego brick mix? and have you checked out Legoland? Now that’s sweet. An amusement park based solely around what might be the sweetest toy of all time... I mean... does it get any better...??

Rubiks Cube

Hello again. Today I am going to discuss the awesomeness of the Rubik’s Cube. This challenging toy has been baffling children and adults for the last 25 years. That's right. 25 years. Boy how time has flown. For a limited time you can actually purchase a commemorative cube with silver instead of white and a sweet 25 years sticker. I think this toy is underrated. It's simple, straight to the point, very challenging, and still tons of fun. I spent days learning the secrets of the cube and now the most rewarding aspect of this toy is amazing audiences in the classroom or even at work. There are many different varieties and knock-offs of the Rubik’s cube but the original is by far the greatest. This is pretty much one of the sweetest toys I’ve ever encountered. I mean how many toys have their own world championship?!?!

Littlest Pet Shop is back!

Hey guys! Don't you love when companies bring back old toys? I sure do! One of my favorite toys when I was a kid was Littlest Pet Shop. I always tried to collect as many as I could and had a blast playing with them. They were such sweet toys! I was so sad when they discontinued them.... but fear not, they are back! These tiny pets are now cuter than ever! They have big bobble heads and loveable little houses and toys. I already have a bunch of these awesome toys. Hasbro has made pretty much all the sweetest types of animals that every 'petshop' ought to have! You can collect everything from puppies, kittens, and guinea pigs to monkeys, frogs, and iguanas! My favorite toy animal would have to be the turtles. There are tons of different types of dogs and cats to collect! They offer big playset and tons of accesories. And now you can also go online and name your pet, play games, send cute ecards, and more! I can't wait to see what new pets Hasbro will make next! These 'new' toys are afordable and so so cute!
